You Don't Need Permission | CTDP Ep. 98

Some of us have noticed that the more we outwork those around us, the more we begin to feel their judgment. It’s the “Crabs In The Bucket” theory, that if an individual rises above the rest and finds a way “out of the bucket”, the others will try to pull them back down.

This happens when those who refuse to change get jealous of our success. Maybe they don’t want to be left behind and are uncomfortable at the fact that you reached the level of success that they can only dream of. When we begin to worry about how everyone else feels, it can cause a roadblock, preventing progress.

On this episode of “Crushing The Day,” we learn that we DO NOT need anyone’s permission to succeed! We all have the opportunity each day to level up, do the work, and create a lifelong legacy. Those who do the work, earn their success. Tune in to learn more.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How others look down on us when we are overachievers.
  • Why worry prevents us from reaching our goals
  • That at the end of the day, we each choose who we want to be and how we show up in this life.

Favorite Quote:

“Stop worrying about what other people are saying...focus on you and the level of success you want to be on because you don’t need anyone's permission.”
