Talent Is Not A Free Pass | CTDP 242
We all know individuals who tend to excel when it comes to talent. Where there is extreme talent, there can also be extreme laziness. Talent is sometimes used as a crutch when it comes down to showing up and doing the work that needs to be done.
No matter how good we might be at something, we all experience an off day from time to time. We can become so overly confident in our unique abilities, that we end up buckling under pressure when it comes time to step up to the plate and deliver.
On this episode of “Crushing The Day,” Drewbie says, “Talent doesn’t last forever. The people who really end up winning in life are the ones who work hard, show up early, stay late, and remain focused at all times.” Tune in to learn more.
What You’ll Learn:
- Why excuses and procrastination don’t work just because someone might be extremely talented.
- How we are not in it for the short game.
- That in order to be successful during the entirety of our legacy, we have to show up and do the work.
