Knowledge & Character | CTDP Ep.84
Nobody likes a smart a**! When you enter a room, are others appreciative of the conversation you provide, or do they avoid you? You could be the smartest person on any given subject, but if you lack good character, you will also lack respect from your peers.
On this episode of “Crushing The Day,” we learn that: “Knowledge gives you power, but character gets you respect.” That means being in alignment with your actions and your words. It means listening to others and caring about their experiences.
If you desire respect from your circle of friends, then choose to listen more than you speak! You will learn far more when you are quiet and humble, than when you are running your mouth about everything that you know. Tune in to learn more.
What You’ll Learn:
- How appreciating the people around you matters.
- Why pissing off everyone around us does not gain us the respect that we are looking for.
- That being humble will not only show good character but will get us everything we want and need for success.
Favorite Quote:
“Give back to the people around you. That's how you will gain the respect that you want, and that respect will take you to unimaginable places.”
