Keeping The Promise | CTDP 245

[[EMBEDDED_PLAYER]]

How many times have we all made promises that we didn’t keep? It feels and sounds good to tell others that we will show up for them, but in order to do that, we must first ask ourselves if what we are promising is in alignment with our true intentions.

On this episode of “Crushing The Day,” we are reminded how easy it can be to over-commit, especially when it comes to our team and family members. Promises should hold a sense of sacredness, and a true inner belief that we will follow through with what we say.

If you are making promises that aren’t being kept...then it’s time to “re-wire” how you view a promise. What to be considered reliable and dependable? Meet the expectations you’ve set! Tune in to learn more.

What You’ll Learn:

  • How it’s easy to tell when someone doesn’t plan on coming through with what they say.
  • Why we must re-define the value of our promise.
  • That if we set the proper expectations, then we will end up in a better place.

Favorite Quote:

“If you’re making promises that you don’t believe that you will keep, you’ll never keep them because that’s how the universe works.”
